A brief history of the model:
The Fieseler Fi 156 Storch (“Stork”) was a remarkable German liaison and reconnaissance aircraft used extensively during World War II. Famous for its extreme short takeoff and landing (STOL) capabilities, the Storch could operate from tiny, rough fields and even land in confined clearings. Its high-lift wing design and long, spindly landing gear made it ideal for battlefield observation, medical evacuation, and special missionsincluding the daring 1943 rescue of Mussolini from a mountaintop fortress.
