DH-4 Bi-Plane – #1812 35″ Wingspan
Here is a beautiful model of the DH-4, designed by Pat Tritle. Designed to use stock off the shelf flying hardware for easy affordable flight.
A brief history of the model:
The de Havilland DH-4 was a British-designed two-seat biplane used extensively during World War I for reconnaissance and bombing missions. It gained further fame as the only American-built aircraft to see frontline service in the war, and later played a key role in U.S. airmail delivery and military training. Known for its sturdy build and versatility, the DH-4 earned a lasting reputation as a dependable workhorse of early aviation.
