A brief history of the model:
The Gee Bee Model E was an early entry from the Granville Brothers Aircraft Company, known for their daring and distinctive racing planes of the 1930s. Preceding the famous R-series, the Model E showcased the stubby fuselage and teardrop cowl that would become the Gee Bee trademark. Though not as extreme as its successors, it played a key role in shaping the bold and competitive design philosophy that defined the golden age of air racing.
