DETAILS

1:16 Scale Russian KV-1 RC Tank

Bring historic Soviet power to your RC battlefield with this highly detailed 1:16 scale Russian KV-1 RC tank. Equipped with the advanced TK7.0 multi-function control board, this model offers precision control through proportional acceleration, steering, turret traverse and gun elevation or depression, delivering a realistic and engaging driving experience.

With fully programmable radio settings, you can adjust the amount of recoil, sensitivity during turns, acceleration response, and select between high-speed and low-speed driving modes. The track recoil function simulates cannon fire with a rearward shudder and includes three selectable settings: low, medium and high.

Authenticity is enhanced with a switchable smoke effect and working headlights and brake lights. Audio features include five volume levels and four distinctive sound sets, each featuring realistic audio effects such as engine start-up, idle, acceleration, turret movement, elevation, machine gun bursts, cannon fire and shutdown.

This model also fires 6mm plastic BBs up to 10 metres. While not designed for precision, this function should always be used cautiously with suitable eye protection. Additionally, the tank is equipped with an infrared emitter, making it compatible with Heng Long’s infrared battle system. Up to 20 tanks can engage in simulated combat, with each unit disabled after five successful hits.

Built for performance as well as realism, the KV-1 includes independently sprung road wheels to maximise off-road capability and terrain handling. Whether used for display or in large-scale battle scenarios, this tank is a must-have for collectors and RC enthusiasts alike.

A brief history of the KV-1

The KV-1 was one of the Soviet Union’s most formidable heavy tanks during the early years of the Second World War. Named after defence commissar Kliment Voroshilov, it featured thick armour that proved nearly impervious to early German anti-tank weapons. Introduced in 1939, the KV-1 played a key role in halting the German advance during Operation Barbarossa and became a symbol of Soviet resilience. Though later overshadowed by more advanced designs, the KV-1’s impact on armoured warfare was significant. This RC model captures the strength and presence of a tank that helped define Soviet battlefield dominance.
