Harking back to the halcyon days of the 70s and 80s when balsa-built 2-channel gliders ruled the roost on both slope and flat field, Seagull’s Angel 2000 invites you to hours of gentle and relaxed thermal soaring. Casting aside technology, complexity and their associated angst, the Angel’s smooth and peaceful flight envelope offers an experience that very few R/C flying models can replicate. Gentle as it might be, thermal hunting is a unique challenge with all the trial, the error and the practice that goes hand-in-hand with acquiring a skill and reaping the reward. The Angel 2000 can take you there.

Balsa built, beautifully finished and with a semi-translucent scheme that displays the supremacy of Seagull’s workmanship, the Angel has just five main components and comes with an optional electric motor pylon mount for those who want to fly from the flat. This, then, is the best of both worlds with guaranteed altitude and a get out jail’ card if you’re plagued by the dreaded sink.
