A brief history of the model:
The Citabria (that’s “airbatic” spelled backward) was introduced in the 1960s by Champion Aircraft as a light, high-wing monoplane designed for both training and aerobatics. Renowned for its inverted flight capability and rugged taildragger configuration, it became a favourite among recreational pilots and aerobatic beginners. Its forgiving handling and classic design also made it a go-to aircraft for bush flying and glider towing.
