A brief history of the model:
The Curtiss SBC-3 Helldiver was the last biplane dive bomber to serve with the U.S. Navy, entering service in the late 1930s just before the transition to monoplanes. Though quickly overshadowed by its monoplane successor, the SB2C Helldiver, the SBC-3 played a vital role in training and fleet operations during a period of rapid aviation advancement. Its unique combination of a biplane design with dive-bombing capability made it a technological bridge between eras.
