A brief history of the model:
The Granville Brothers’ Gee Bee Z Racer was one of the most daring and recognisable aircraft of the Golden Age of air racing. Introduced in 1931, it featured a compact, barrel-shaped fuselage wrapped around a powerful radial engine, designed for maximum speed. Though notoriously difficult to handle, the Gee Bee Z won the Thompson Trophy and set a new world speed record, cementing its place as an icon of aviation risk and innovation.
