Description
ICM branded plastic model assembly kit in 1:48 scale of a He 111Z-1 “Zwilling” glider tug aircraft as used by the Germans during World War II. It is made up of 548 parts and is ideal for aircraft fans and modellers alike. Detailed assembly instructions are included to help with the building process before painting and finishing of the model is required.
The Heinkel He 111Z-1 Zwilling (Gemini) was two He 111H-6 aircraft interconnected by a new wing section on which the fifth engine was mounted. It was designed to tow the Me 321 cargo glider or two Go 242 gliders. Twelve of these aircraft were built before the end of spring, 1942. It saw service mostly on the Eastern front as a glider tug and transport aircraft.
