Jellutong, or jelutong wood, is valued by model makers due to its workability as it has a fine grain and even texture, making it easy to carve into intricate designs.

  • It glues, stains, turns and finishes well.
  • Simple to drill and saw.

 

Jellutong’s is a low density wood so is easy to work with hand and machine tools.
