Micro Set.

Microscale Micro Set prepares the surface with special wetting agents that cut the oils in new paint and converts the adhesive on the back of the decal to a stronger and longer lasting one.

 

  • Brush onto the model where the decal is to be applied, then dip decal in water, slide off backing paper into position on the model.
  • Carefully brush more Micro Set on top of the decal.
  • Wait for a few minutes for the decal to soften, then press the decal down with a piece of soft paper towel. Repeat as necessary or use more Micro Sol for decal softening strength.
  • Allow the decal to dry overnight.
  • It will then be ready for a protective coat of Micro Flat.

 

Micro Set slightly softens the decal film to make it more flexible so that it will conform better to the model's surface.
