Description
At the end of the 1960s, the Mikoyan Design Bureau developed the world’s first interceptor fighter with a speed of Mach 3 – the MiG-25. The modification MiG-25PD with improved avionics and missile weapons was produced from 1978. In the late 1970s and 1980s, it was the basic interceptor fighter of the USSR anti-aircraft defence. These perfect planes served in Soviet (later – Russian) Air Force, and were delivered to Iraq, Syria and Libya.
