FMS is proud to introduce the 850mm Ranger. Like its larger sibling, the high-wing airframe with tricycle landing gear is inherently stable and easy to fly. A dedicated flight controller paired with a GPS system allows pilots to operate under beginner, intermediate or fully manual flight modes. Innovative flight perimeter and return-to-home functions offer outstanding reliability and peace of mind. Flying has never been so simple.
Flight perimeter fence function: If the aircraft exceeds 120 metres from the pilot, it will automatically return to the home point. The pilot can regain control at any time. Once above the home location, the aircraft will circle at an altitude of 25 metres at approximately 40 km/h.
Return-to-home function: In the unlikely event that the pilot loses orientation, this function can be activated to guide the aircraft back to the home point. Like the flight perimeter feature, it does not override the pilot’s ability to control the aircraft at any time. Once overhead, the Ranger 850 will continue to circle until new inputs are made.
Absolute beginners rejoice. The FMS 850mm Ranger includes everything required for flight. A 12A ESC/receiver combo reduces cable clutter, while the 2315-3850KV motor, 7.4V 850mAh 25C battery, and four 1.9g micro servos deliver remarkable performance.
