EVA foam shield kit.

This kit contains everything you need to make a shield for cosplay, LARP, Theatre, TV & Film prop making.

This is a great fun project that will teach you how to use EVA foam, including gluing & thermo-forming, skills that can be used on many other prop making projects.

 

The kit contains:

  • 10mm EVA foam
  • 5mm EVA foam
  • Air drying black craft foam
  • Silicone rivet mould
  • 140mm Hemisphere
  • Plywood boss former
  • Hexflex black primer
  • Two strips of faux leather
  • Bison contact adhesive
  • Shield making instructions (3.8Mb PDF)
  • Cut out layout guide

 

In the example above we decorated the shield to look like Lagertha's shield, but once you have make your shield, you can decorate however you wish (see our Shield Workshop news article for inspiration). Take a look at the instructions to see the whole process.
