DETAILS
FMS Hawker Typhoon 1100mm PNP: A British Warbird Icon
The Hawker Typhoon was a British single-seat fighter-bomber produced by Hawker Aircraft. When the Luftwaffe introduced the formidable Focke-Wulf Fw 190 in 1941, the Typhoon became the only RAF fighter capable of intercepting it at low altitudes. This established its role as a dedicated low-altitude interceptor. From late 1942, the Typhoon was equipped with bombs, and by late 1943, it was further enhanced with RP-3 ground attack rockets. Combined with its four 20mm Hispano cannons, the Typhoon became one of the most effective ground-attack aircraft of the Second World War.
Now you can take to the skies with FMS’s 1100mm Hawker Typhoon PNP. This highly detailed warbird features an impressive 1100mm wingspan and a range of scale details. Reinforced wing surfaces allow pilots to perform advanced aerobatic manoeuvres such as point rolls, barrel rolls, Immelmann turns, half-Cubans and split-S sequences with confidence and precision.
Retractable landing gear, a realistic three-blade propeller with spinner and split flaps all contribute to the authenticity and flight performance of this remarkable model. With a powerful brushless motor, rugged construction and finely detailed scale features, the FMS Hawker Typhoon offers the durability, capability and realism that discerning pilots demand.
If you are looking for a British warbird with historical pedigree and aerobatic prowess, the Hawker Typhoon 1100mm is an outstanding choice.
