A brief history of the model:
The Grumman J4F-1 “Widgeon” was a small twin-engine amphibious aircraft used by the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II for search and rescue missions, coastal patrols, and transport. Its ability to land on both water and land made it invaluable for retrieving downed pilots and conducting maritime operations in hard-to-reach areas.
